Restaurants in Penang @ Gat Lebuh Cecil – 8 Restaurants
Restoran Hock Chuan Heong 福泉香饭店
Hock Chuan Heong is one of the places with good Hokkien dishes that come with reasonable prices. The restaurant remains a good place for Hokkien dishes in Penang.

Lum Lai Duck Meat Koay Teow Th’ng
The specialty of this hawker stall, is the Duck meat! Even the clear soup is extremely wholesome, flavorful sweetness boiled with duck and pork. It really gives the soup a real OOMPH alongside the smooth Koay Teow!
Cecil Street Market Pasembur
taufulou posted www.taufulou.com 674 ReviewsI would say one of my favourite pasembor and if you do visit Penang and in the afternoon, this hot place is one of the place you would want to consider for hawker food. Recommended~
Star City Food Court
Basically the Chee Cheong Fun looked like any normal ones you can get from the streets but this version had some surimi crab sticks and fresh prawns wrapped in them. Upon each order, these pre-prepared rolls would be dipped into batter and deep fried until golden brown. Prior to serving, you have an option of two sauces such as mayonnaise and KL rojaksauce.
Cecil Street Char Koay Teow
He uses almost the same ingredients as the others but there’s one hidden secret. He uses charcoal and his high heat frying skills that I could hardly take a proper shot from his hyper motions.
Cecil Street Ghaut Laksa & Fritters
One such stall would be a little Laksa stall manned by a Chinese mother and her son along Cecil Street Ghaut (Gat Lebuh Cecil).
