Restoran Ding Hao
Motormouth posted www.j2kfm.com 552 ReviewsA food court with partial al fresco arrangement, the place would be normally packed during dinner hours, and when we were kids, my brother and I absolutely fell head over heels for the Lemon chicken dish served by one of the stalls here.
Lucky Restaurant
Motormouth posted www.j2kfm.com 552 ReviewsAlso highly recommended is their Steamed fish fillet (usually threadfin salmon, grouper, or you can go all out and order the “loong dan” or estuary grouper) with homemade noodles, scallions and ginger. Or try their Fish Noodle Soup; made out of real fish hence lending an inherent sweetness to the pot of soup; complete with a QQ texture (al dente) that spoke volume of its freshness.

Restoran Sun Yeong Wai
This restaurant has branches in Greentown and Medan Ipoh Baru, but this outlet serves the BEST roasted pork among the 3.
WACK posted wonderfoodtravel.blogspot.com 41 ReviewsExceptionalWe ordered what the restaurant is famous for- roast duck. It comes in two flavours: original and smoked. Personally, i liked the original but my friend preferred the latter. Really, it depends on your preferences, so we ordered a quarter of each. The roast duck was flavourful and succulent. Another recommended dish was the roast pork or 'siew yok'- i especially liked the crispy skin of the pork and the thick, fatty layer sandwiched in between. See blog for more!
