Cool Japanese drinking place with a relaxing atmosphere and great food. Went to chill with a buddy there. They were having a kirin ichiban frozen beer promo after 9pm, buy 2 free 1.
Buddy was driving so at first we settled for just 2. We also ordered edamame and tori karaage to snack on. Edamame was fresh and hot, tori karaage was pretty heavenly IMHO. I love fried chicken tenders and Ichiban's was crunchy on the outside, tender in the inside and so well seasoned. It was just amazing with my cold beer. The special frozen beer was smooth to the palate, not overly bitter and most of all ice cold! So good to drink it on a hot day although the restaurant was airy and cool.
They have lotsa other alcohol promos but we couldn't try as we were not great drinkers LOL. Anyway I finished my beer and the waiter politely and cleverly asked if I wanted the 3rd free beer. Here came my kiasu-ness, minum saja la! So I finished my 2nd beer.
We were there pretty late so we only heard like 1-2 songs from the live band. But the band was good. Had a great night there, great drinks, great snacks, great company. Chilling session perfect!
