I heard many customers form outstation such as KL, Penang, Ipoh, Melaka even Singapore and Hong Kong came all the way here to this famous bread! Can you believe that? Wow!! We are one of them from KL to come across trying out this delicious Chicken Curry Bun.. The size of the bun is not like the normal bun. It is as big as a pamelo! Even the way of cutting for the bun is very similar as cutting a pamelo! The curry chicken is pre-baked and wrapped inside the bun.Dip the bun into the curry and it will taste heavenly, I promise you!!!

I have been traveling to Malaysia quite often these days, so every time when i came without fail this Curry Chicken Bun will be my lunch. This is kinda new dish in Malaysia, so far i have not seen many places sell this and i am sure in this coming year it will be very famous. This is the first curry chicken bun i have tasted, so no comparison i can make but this is good. All my colleagues who came here got addicted with the curry chicken bun. @MINGGUS from Indonesia

I was in Port Dickson with a group of friends to check out this Lucky Lukut Seafood Restoran. I heard that  the "Curry in a Bun" concept originated  from this place. This dish is popular in Port Dickson and you must try if you happen to be around the vicinity. The curry is tasty and very thick, it's a perfect combination especially when you dip the bread into the curry. Yummy, the taste is fantastic although the bun is a little oily! We also ordered some side dishes like the Oyster Omelette, Sambal Kang Kong. For the Oyster Omelette, the egg is very fragrant but its kindof oily. The kang kong tasted good with the nice sambal chilli. It is a nice place to dine in with friends or family for lunch or dinner.

It is famous for its Lucky King Bun which is basically a curry chicken bun. We ordered 2 to be shared among the 6 of us. We also ordered some seafood, tofu and veggie too. As we wait for our food to be served, we can see the buns literally flying off the stall. It was so popular that the shopowners have to replenish them quickly! The curry in the bun is nice, and the bun was not too soft nor oily too. I personally prefer this to the Kampar curry chicken bun. Our lunch was very good as well, not to mentioned reasonable priced too.

The bread/bun was soft, tender like Potato Bun match so good with the curry chicken. Its best eaten hot dip with curry sauce. Tried a lot of this kind but 1st time tasted bun made so good and curry just right not too spicy or oily.

The bun was just perfect. Simple and delicious and reasonably priced. To eat it, you have to rip open the big bun and unwrapped the curry chicken which is stored inside. The bun is soft and fragrant. inside there is a plastic bag wrapped curry meat which is full with curry flavour. The meat is very tender and juicy. The curry tasted nice when eat together with the bun.

This gigantic bun made by Lucky King Bun is what I am referring to. I have no doubt that it is already well known among Negeri Sembilan folks, but for outstation people and international tourists alike, I think you will find it something interesting and appreciable. As Malaysians, I believe we have all tried dipping bread into curries when we were kids and we still do it now and then. The idea is outright simple, yet it is satisfyingly delicious. So what Lucky did was improvised on the concept by wrapping the curry inside the bun instead of serving them separately.

I can tell this is the one of best delicacy i have ever tasted. No wonder, why is everyone recommended after the 1st taste of the lucky king bun. I am started to falling in love with the curry chicken bun, it's extremely unique. I can guarantee you will never taste sort of flavor outside there ( the recipes were made of 20 differents of materials mixing together ), after the 1st bite you will probably love it then on. It's exaggeratly tasteful. I am not meant to use those bombastic expression, but it's very tasty! Worth to try! Ah ha, and one important thing: it's not expensive at all, it's afforable for the community! You can taste it merely at rm7 till rm27! Worthy a bite!
