TANBA Japanese BBQ was the first renowned restaurant in Johor Bahru which focuses on Japanese styled BBQ buffet.
这家的老板是Q Grader 的专业咖啡师。老板之前在韩国学做咖啡，这次回来开店算是凯旋归来吧。带了一身技巧和咖啡知识，顺便也把一位韩国女咖啡师也一起带回来了。 店里有位高挑的韩国小姐，说着流利的韩语（废话），笑容和蔼，技术也是一流。
The eatery is run by Grace Lim, a remarkable and shy (sometimes) lady that went into the food business not too long ago.She serves rather authentic Nynoya Cuisine, no frills and at a reasonable price.
Among all, I like the Nyonya mee-suah and Nyonya Lontong very much! This 2 dishes are really unique within Johor Bahru area.
这里有两架咖啡机，原因便是这里有两种咖啡豆，分别是南部和北部。 据说南部的咖啡豆和我们平常喝的相似，比较有浓厚的咖啡味； 北部则有果香味，咖啡味不会太重。
Yoong Kim not only famous with its seafood porridge, but also their home made chili-garlic sauce which really impressed me, it is fresh but at the same time extremely HOT!!
I will be back again for the Karaage chicken, and also like to explore more of the 'authentic' Japanese food from this 'Japanese kopitiam'.

The quantity of the foods enough to serve at least 3 adults, so we were overloaded again! We will be back and of course with more friends...:)

In the evening, enjoy our tasty Western dinner with the company of a wide range of Wines and liquors available. Sit outside the cool Alfresco dining or prefer to enjoy the indoor ambience.
Overall, the good thing is this shop open in the morning and afternoon, so a good supplement to the best Senibong Nasi Lemak.
