Umai-Ya Japanese Restaurant
The restaurant uses the “tatami” style seating where you’re sitting on an elevated dining room sunken well for your feet.
So so久闻 Umai-Ya 的大名，身边有好些朋友更是不时到那里去朝圣，让我对这地方也好奇起来了。终于这一天有机会带着家人一起来尝尝这很多人口中都赞好的日本餐厅，加上餐厅正推出优惠券，消费越多折扣越多，所以当然是要拉大队一起去吃咯！

Kikyo Japanese Restaurant
The interior of Kikyo has a very warm and comfortable ambience. The area was lighted by something like decorated paper lanterns. There are various seating arrangements to accommodate different patrons - there are ones where you are required to take off your shoes. Very nice bamboo decorations on th...e wall. SuperbOverall for my verdict is slightly cheaper than Umai-ya but Umai-ya still the best ala-carte based Japanese buffet in my opinion. However, I have far more ala-carte restaurant that I have not been yet. Still to come...and hope you all will stayed tuned!

SuperbNice ramen with thick and yummy soup. But better do not sit close to the chef as they shouted lively and loudly when they cook, haha.

Yuzen Japanese Restaurant
Despite having only a handful of what’s offered on the menu, what we had were impressive enough to make us want to return. And I have to say that with all things considered, Yuzen is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in recent months.

Teppanyaki
It’s another version of Japanese cuisines that uses iron griddle to cook food. Typical main course you can choose include chicken, salmon, beef, shrimp, squid and etc. The side dish of the stir fry vegetables usually accompanies the main course. You then dip it with the chili and soy sauce! Perfect!!!

Among a handful things that we tried, the Aburi Sushi, Seafood Teppanyaki and the Japanese pork belly were great, while the rest such as Godzilla Roll and Cheese Baked King Prawn were OK and met expectations. The Gyoza was forgettable, though.

Overall the food is not bad except I get a bit frustrated with the portion of ingredients on the conveyor belt. Comparing with others buffet steamboat in Klang Valley, this one definitely not a bad one in terms of the ambience, price and variety of food. It is definitely worth coming bac...k again! read more
