Chatter Kopitiam
One would easily mistake this shop with Old Town Kopitiam due to their similar design. Even the food offered is similar
Bismillah Chendol
Take the premium plate. Sure gastronomic one. Then can enjoy visiting Taiping also. See taipingkakis.blogspot.com for location and details.
Old Town Coffeeshop
Old Town Coffee had opened their new market in Teluk Intan and it can be said to have a good business there as well and a new place for youngsters to gather around besides Mc Donalds which is around the corner.
Kedai Kopi 338
A new shop which serves a nice and pleasent taste of Curry Mee. The Curry Mee here is slightly different from the curry mee in Penang or even in KL. The gravy here is more santan or can say they cooked them with coconut milk rather than some using the evaporated milk.
Restaurant Taman Ramai
One of the best claypot rice and noodles (Low See Fan) in whole Malaysia and the black and white coffee is so good that you must not miss.
Kedai Makanan Dan Minuman Desa Rishah
Kedai Kopi Yong Suan
The best Nasi Kandar in Ipoh, bar none. When the worker who serves you asks for your choice of curry to go with the rice, just tell them to mix 'em all up, that's how we like it here in ipoh.

James Cendol
posted theasianchihuahua.blogspot.comBefore I tried James Cendol, I thought no matter famous or not, all cendol taste same but James Cendol proved me wrong, it is a taste which I can remember and tell the differences with others. It comes with rich aromatic coconut milk (santan) flavour but not too sweet. Overall, it is a yes, definitely worth a try!
