Mee Bandung Muar Abu Bakar Hanipah @ Wah San Kopit
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsEach mouthful is rich and bursting with prawn flavor, there’s simply no stopping once you have started – simply delicious. Priced at RM4 per plate, no doubt this is one of the best local food we had during our short trip to Muar.
Ah Teck Chwee Kueh (Steamed Rice Cakes)
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOne of the few standing Chwee Kueh stalls in Muar could be found at Jalan Yahya, just in front of the Toto shop.
Ah Niu Fried Noodles
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsTaste wise it was really good for only RM3.50, or else I wouldn’t have rated it as a satisfying experience.
Coconut Garden Food Court
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsTrue to his words, I noticed a slight improvement to the overall taste. The noodle, which is already delicious and springy on its own became more appetizing to the palate with more chili – having more kick and oomph too.
Glutton Street Traditional Tong Sui Stall
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsJust by looking you should to be able to tell that it is not the usual ‘fa sang wu’ you get in the chained franchise dessert house. Instead of being thick and creamy, the peanuts actually still have their original shape and are cooked in a mildly sweet broth. The peanuts’ texture is completely different from what you would have expected too, as they are soft after being slow-boiled and melts in your mouth – very comforting and satisfying.
