The most raved Sweet & Sour Pork On Ice is very unique indeed but the combination of the temperature & the flavor just didn’t tickle our taste bud.
We have only tried their noodles, fried rice, & a veggie - 1st impression: good! The restaurant was clean, service was quite prompt, waiters/waitresses were helpful, & the overall taste of food was above average (in my humble opinion). The only thing was that it's slightly more pricey than the non-airconditioned Chinese restaurants...

Reasons to visit: Comfort food in a comfortable setting at comfortable prices. The really good news is that the menu is so extensive that you can keep going back again and again, safe in the knowledge that you’ll get a simply delicious meal every time. It’ll be like coming home.
The Japanese restaurant well decorated with the cosy and classy interior, with warm lighting, is indeed bringing us a welcoming experience. The restaurant offers a great time in sizzling without the smoke which is what I love the most. Each table comes with a smokeless roasters and down-draft system.
Gyu-Kaku’s version of Tantan ramen, having springy ramen immerse in thick, rich broth, looks fiery hot but actually mild, more pronounced in sweetness.
Since it was our first time here, we ordered the Sampler where we get to choose 6 ice-cream flavours. We chose affogato, triple chocolate, black doris plum, blood orange and cranberry sorbet, vanilla, as well as fig and honey. My personal favourites were definitely affogato and triple chocolate. Adrena said fig and honey tasted like it has gula Melaka in it. We also ordered crepe with vintage strawberry & cream and waffles with after dinner mint. You can choose your ice cream toppings to go with it but I personally would prefer ice-cream rather than sorbet.
With the reasonable price and delicious food served, it is definitely a must visit restaurant when you come over Tropicana City Mall.
Overall, it was a delicious lunch for us. Good choice to drop by for lunch with plenty of choice to choose from. Crowded during lunch hours, so it is a kind of difficult to get car parking and table. Reasonable price for big portions and most important is that the owner prepare the foods, not the foreigner workers which is very rare in Petaling Jaya/ Kuala Lumpur.
Overall, the food was tasty with fast preparation time. However, the service was poor.
