Traditional way of cooking Bak Kut Teh suppose to be the herbs cook together with pork ribs only.
In the end of the meal, we were very satisfied as I have been to this place couple of times already and total damage for 2 person cost RM 38 which is pretty reasonable.
Bak Kut Teh from 5pm onwards --- a respectable place for a good dinner somewhere in Ipoh Road.

This place was affectionately named “Kai Tau” – i.e. Chicken Coop by my colleagues because it was incredibly cramped and yet packed to the rafters, every work day, during lunch time.
This stall is in Taman Rainbow, while you are on Jalan Ipoh, turn into Taman Rainbow, drive straight, it should be on your left a while down the road.

This is one place excellent for lunch during working days and their business has been good all this while. Do try it out and I bet you will like it.
They are opened daily (except Sundays, if I am not mistaken) and cater for the office lunch crowd around that area - and it sure is crowded during lunch. But they are very systematic and well organized; patience will be rewarded. Good news is, they are also opened at nights, from 7pm until midnight, but no siew ngap at night. Recommend a trip there for dinner rather than trying to compete with the lunch crowd.

The signature dish of E & O curry fish head, it was a red fish, a jenahak. It was fresh & tasty. The curry came with lady fingers, long beans, brinjal and taupok.

Everything was good, from the roast chicken to the char siew (barbecue pork) to the siew yoke (roast pork) to even the cucumbers! :D Did I mention that the rice was awesome too? ;)
No frills, cheap and damn good food, I think I’ll be their regular customer soon, not only for the Hokkien Mee but also the amazingly addictive fried fu chuk!
