  36. The Museum Cafe @ Jalan Hang Jebat (Jonker Street), Melaka  The outside implies a lot of historic connotation and claims to make them the traditional way, and seems appealing being in a historic city. Located in the heart of the historic part of town, the concept seems intriguing. Decor in the shop looks very 50s with 50s music. However, the interior, although nice, is very messy with 21st century items such as plastic containers.

The signage at the shop tells some talks about the shop’s history. Starting first with Tandori and Naan, then evolving to some Indian-Mamak items such roti chanai and now Bombay side dishes.
  42. Restoran Garuda, Nasi Padang @ Pusat Bandar Damansara, Kuala Lumpur  Traditional Nasi Padang in the middle of a commercial – government complex. Instead of being served, it is self service. The keropok is left on the table, and does not seem popular.
