The soup base is not overly sweetened by Ajinomoto. I would say it is a good choice for breakfast.

Ipoh Salted Chicken
This stall is the branch out from its outlet in Joo Leong Cafe in Bayan Lepas (famous for its toast bread and half boiled eggs). The chicken is wrapped in “tracing paper” and baked in two woks filled with heated coarse salt.
Klang Bak Kut Teh
It is just a small place, occupying the front of a house, with a few tables on the side walk as well. The menu is displayed hanging opposite the stall.
Belacan Chicken Hawker Stall
The chicken meat is tender and the belacan taste is well marinated into the meat. The taste is just nice for my taste bud as it is not overly pungent. There are many choice ofthe chicken that you can buy from the stall, namely the chicken wings, drumsticks, thighs, breast meat, etc.

This is one place worth visiting for Yong Tau Foo.
Lean Thye Coffee Shop
The owner, Ah Kheng has been selling Lor Mee for around fifteen years around town before settling down in Lean Thye coffee shop in Ah Quee Street. Ah Kheng’s stall is the only one occupying the coffee shop. Usually in the morning, the coffee shop is filled with customers just waiting for their bowl of Lor Mee from him.
Tye Sin Street Economy Bee Hoon
This stall along Jalan CY Choy to be one of the best around. Other than having some add on like their ever delicious Lor Bak (Pork Roll), they have something better. Their noodles did not have the strong taste of unwashed Lye water.

JL Steamboat Restauran
The place was rather cozy with soft music and yet dimly light cubicles. It would be a bonus for those people who love to dine in privacy. Each table would come with an electronically temperature control hot plate which you do not see much at many steamboat restaurants.
Kedai Kopi Sing May Mah
The difference lied in the yam rice. Each whole rice grain from here had the right texture and softness, combined with the thorough coating from the fragrant dark soy sauce, mixed with the right saltiness from the dried shrimps and beautiful powdery bites from the yam cubes.
